What we collect
When you create a price watch, Dealwatch collects your email address, chosen target price, and the product and retailer connected with that watch. We also receive basic technical and aggregated usage information needed to run and protect the website. Product-page visits can contribute to an aggregate “Hot right now” signal; this does not store an account, email address, IP address, cookie or device identifier.
Why we use it
We use watch details to send a confirmation email, send a price alert if the confirmed target is reached, provide an unsubscribe link, and prevent misuse. We use aggregated website analytics to understand which pages are being used. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Service providers
Dealwatch uses Supabase to store watch data, Resend to deliver alert emails, and Vercel to host the website and provide aggregated analytics. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services.
Retention and choices
A price watch remains stored while it is active and until it is cancelled or has fired. You can cancel from the link in the alert email. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, email us using the contact details below.
Security and contact
We use reasonable technical controls to protect stored information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. For privacy questions or complaints, contact contact@dealwatch.com.au. We will review the request and respond as soon as reasonably practical.
Changes
We may update this policy when Dealwatch changes. The current version will always appear on this page with its revision date.
